The use of product is really easy, but the demo leaves some doubts on the obtained results.

Very easy and user friendly little program for all kinds of simple construstions. Just what you need when things are straight forword and you just want to be on the safe side or find the most economical solution.

This is a good software package. I quite like it. It makes beam sizing very simple and it allows quick checking with other shapes and sizes to maximize economy. Some of the help is a little hard to understand--I think it may have been originally written in another language.Jon.

MITCalc Review I like the software, the interface could be a bit easier to use, but solving virtually any type of beam equation is fairly straightforward and the software has quite a bit of flexibility allowing easy modeling of indeterminite beams.Some complaints would be that the bending moment is displayed in ft-lbs not in-lbs which would match the designated units. MITCalc Review It is a quite easy-to-use spreadsheet. The main advantage is that it is like an algorithm; if you follow it step by step, you will end up to a result. Updation We already bought the MITcalc software an year ago. In that there is no planet gear option. The newly developed is very useful for us. Can we get free update for Mitcalc.

A useful tool, I used it to check an existing calculation. However it takes a while to understand how to use it. Overall I'd say its good and I'll use again.
